ANMDA (Australasian Nepalese Medical and Dental Association) is not for profit and non-political association. It’s formed by medical and dental professionals practicing and intending to practice in the Australasian region and is of Nepalese origin.
The member-only section is restricted to associate and general members and is not for the general public. As ANMDA is a membership-based organization, our aim is to support our members in times of personal difficulties and for achieving their career goals.

Please be advised that mentorship is to provide general support and guidance, and is strictly limited to the availability of the mentor. This program aims to build a bridge between doctors and dentists in the initial phases of their careers in Australia with established doctors and dentists currently working in Australia. This program is not aimed for doctors who are currently not in Australia.
ANMDA was registered on 31 March 2015 in Victoria with the agreement of doctors and dentists working in various states of Australia. The first formal meeting of ANMDA was held in Sydney in March 2015. The first AGM was held on 6 June 2015 in Sydney and an executive committee was formed.
Following doctors and dentists were involved in the inception of this organization – Dr Kundan Giri, Dr Keshav Bhattarai, Dr Ghana Shyam Chapagain, Dr Sitaram Joshi, Dr Ganesh Shrestha, Dr Anupam Pokharel, Dr Chandra Deepak Pokharel, Dr Anil Sharma, Dr Anju Pandey, Dr Bal Krishna Subedi, Dr Prajwol Shrestha, Dr Prabin Pathak, and Dr Anis Pokharel.One of the past ANMDA meetings.
