Dear medical and dental practitioner colleagues
I am pleased to inform you that ANMDA 2023 AGM will be held in Launceston, TAS, this year on 18 November 2023 Saturday.
ANMDA has held its annual program in different states of Australia so far, and this time we decided for Tasmania.
Our medical and dental community has gradually grown in Australia. The majority of us are first-generation doctors. Some of us are the second generation. While some of us may have met each other, it would be great if we could make the ANMDA AGM an opportunity to meet each other. Australia is vast, and travelling may not be easy, but at the same time, if we are able to make it, I am sure it will be worthwhile meeting, knowing each other in person or refreshing our friendships.
We had decided last year to organize our yearly function at the third weekend of November each year.
2023 happens to be a new committee formation year as well. While the AGM and CME components of the program will be done by a hybrid model, we are hoping that we will have a good number of medical and dental colleagues physically attending this program and playing our role in forming the new committee.
ANMDA is a relatively young organization, established in 2015, but this is the only platform for medical and dental practitioners of Nepali background where we can extend support to each other and also develop organizational links with similar organizations in Nepal and globally.

Knowing numbers attending in person early on will be very helpful for hall hiring and catering. We will be grateful if you make that weekend free and travel to Launceston to attend this program. If you cannot travel, please still do register for the AGM and CME.
